Calendar banner to showcase September recruiting events. Went for a vaporwave / cyberwave / post-internet style to reflect current online schooling and modern "Zoom" culture, while also drawing upon '90s nostalgia.

Focused on creating a collage-like composition and paper texture effect to capture the essence of lantern making. Included visual elements that allude to Chinese tradition and Chinese New Year (year of the pig).

Aimed for a vintage feel, inspired by '80s VHS horror games. Jack-o-lanterns responsively light up to the beat of the music. Character rigging on ghost and skeleton.

Created visuals that I felt were reminiscent of retro gaming and arcade machines. Because this event took place during the pandemic, I wanted to evoke a sense of nostalgia to remind people of "better times."

Wanted to convey the feeling of being in a casino in Las Vegas. To accompany the slot machine, I focused on ensuring that the colors, music, imagery, etc. felt evocative of the "Vegas experience."
